How Hydro system works?

This page will be about how we are producing electricity from water/hydro

The LBR is located directly next to Rose Creek, which feeds into the Lamar River. This makes it an excellent opportunity to capitalize on hydroelectric, or water power. In fact, water power was actually the original source of electricity at LBR, utilizing a small turbine located directly beneath the bunkhouse. Hydroelectric power is generated by water flowing through a turbine, which then spins a generator and creates power. The LBR be using a “run of river” micro-hydro system, which relies on the rate of water flow through the existing domestic water pipe. The power generated through this method will also be stored in the battery bank, housed in the generator shed.
