Bill, a Montana native, has been a furniture maker, craftsman and artist since 1975. His work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Montana and the west coast, and his furniture is seen in many local homes and on both coasts. He has written articles for Fine Woodworking magazine and is featured in their “Best of Tables and Chairs” series. Bill has been active in the local arts and crafts community for many years, helping to establish the Beall Parks Art Center, and serving on many local arts related boards. He has been teaching furniture design and construction and materials classes at the School of Architecture since 2003 and is the Craft Shop Manager and Equipment and Facilities Manager for the School of Architecture. Bill has upgraded all shop facilities and teaches a comprehensive shop safety course for second-fifth year Architecture students. Bill has created a Digital Technology Room which houses laser cutters, a rapid prototype machine a 3D digitizer and 3 axis CNC machine.
