Washakie Museum

In 2008, IDL Bozeman worked with CTA-Billings to achieve LEED daylighting credit for the Washakie Museum.  Through the use of lighting program AGI-32, IDL Bozeman was able to maximize daylighitng within regularly occupied areas of the museum and offered advice to help implement daylighting controls.

Through the use of AGI-32, IDL Bozeman analyzed the daylight within the atrium and lobby spaces.  This helped create an inviting entrance into the museum.

As well as maximizing the daylight within many occupied spaces, IDL Bozeman offered advice to help implement daylighting controls and hgih efficiency electric lighting.  The lab also recommended a decrease in western facade windows in order to decrease internal heat gain.
