About Us
Integrated Design Lab Bozeman
Offering integrated design services to maximize energy efficiency including daylight and electric lighting analysis, energy modeling, and lighting systems consultations. For many years, the Integrated Design Lab (IDL Bozeman) has provided daylighting and energy efficiency analysis to Montana's architects and engineers. Located on Montana State University's Bozeman campus, IDL Bozeman is affiliated with the School of Architecture and the College of Engineering. Founded by architecture professor Tom Wood, the IDL Bozeman is now run by Kevin Amende, P.E., and Jaya Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D, LEED AP. Students from the architecture and engineering programs assist with the Lab's projects. As part of a larger lab network, IDL Bozeman works to raise awareness about the environmental impacts of energy consumption, through project analysis, consulting, and training workshops.Lab Staff
