The only scholarship money available to a student in the first year is money available from Financial Aid. To learn more about a specific Financial Aid package please contact the Financial Aid Office.

The School of Architecture has two scholarships for first year students who are admitted to the second year of the program. Both of these scholarships are decided by Faculty vote at the end of spring semester of the first year. The faculty will vote on best

ARCH 152 projects. This determines the winners of the Rose Scholarship and the Pella Scholarship.

First year students will not need to apply for these scholarships as they are faculty selected.

For students in the second-fifth year of the program there are a number of scholarships available. The School of Architecture awards around $50,000 a year in scholarship money. Information and application for these scholarships will be made available to students in the spring of the second year of the program.

For students in the second-fifth year of the program there are a number of School of Architecture scholarships available. The School of Architecture awards around $50,000-$55, 000 in scholarship money a year to students. Information and application for these scholarships will be made available to students every year on the first class day of each spring semester. Students submit a general scholarship application and the SOA Scholarship Committee works through the data submitted to find scholarships eligible to students. The Scholarship Application submitted in the spring is for money for the next academic year. For example, if a student is in second year and submits the scholarship application in spring 2010, the money is available for use in the 2011-2012 academic year. There are 39 separate scholarships for which a student is eligible.
